Suzuki method It was introduced by Japanese violin player and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998). Suzuki asserts that children can make music before learning to read notes like they can speak their mother languages before they learn to read. He supports that in relation of music methods, alphabet and music writing, children at young ages who haven’t learnt any of these two systems can learn music. Suzuki postpones reading and teaching notes for the ones who started to make music at young ages. The philosophy and aim of the system is training of ability. According to Dr. Suzuki Shinichi asserting that every child is talented to a certain extent and this ability can be educated, the children who started to have music education at young ages don’t give up music art for other activities at elder ages because of the successes they have.

Suzuki Method makes it free for adults to participate in lessons and therefore, while children are enjoying practicing violin with their parents and so parents can have an active role in student’s training; they can also experience violin practicing themselves.Music education with Suzuki method being mostly in violin teaching, drawing interest all over the world is practiced in major violin in our art center, too. Executive and instructor of this program is Gönenç Hongur.
